Student Visa

The student visa allows people to enroll in a private or public educational institute among Japanese language schools, universities and vocational schools.
The status of residence will be ‘Student’, and you will, consequently, be granted a part time work permit up to 28hrs per week. The period of stay of a student visa ranges from 1 year to 2 years maximum from the date of entry in Japan. In order to get a student visa, the school will complete all the paper work to allow you to enter and live in Japan!


What you need to know

This program is suitable for students who have graduated from high school and want to pursue his/her own studies in Japan. The applicants must have a financial sponsor if she/he cannot sponsor him/herself to be accepted by immigration.
You will undergo a Japanese language check test upon your arrival at school, and then the most appropriate class will be selected for you based on the test result.

The documents for applying for a student visa will be used only for the visa application and various procedures during your study abroad, and will not be used for any other purposes.

Copy of passportIf you already have one. It must include the applicant’s photograph, passport number, and all pages showing previous visits to Japan.

Oath of PaymentHow to support the student to cover expenses during tour stay in Japan. Please use our designated form.

Certificate of Deposit BalanceMust be in the bank’s original form and show the account number. The deposit balance must be at least 15,000 (USD).

Fees (Student Visa)

Once you send in your application with all the needed documentation and application fee (¥30,000), we submit a request to the Tokyo Regional Immigration Services Bureau for document called a Certificate of Eligibility(COE).

Payment of school tuition by the due date

We will send you the COE and other original documents directly to your home!

Submit the COE at your local Japanese Embassy or Consulate and wait!

Finally, receive your student visa and be able to land in Japan!
